Before you connect a number
Do I need Meta approval or a business account?
No. Prasar is a direct sender. You connect an existing WhatsApp number and start without official API approval or business verification. That is the difference from Samvad, which runs on Meta’s WhatsApp Business API.
How many messages can I send at once?
There is no hard cap in the product, but paced batches of about 300–400 are the practical range. A random delay of 15–25 seconds sits between messages (roughly three to four a minute). Some operators have run 2,600+ in a stretch; warm the number up, use your own opted-in list, and never buy a database of numbers.
Can I send images, videos, and PDFs?
Yes. Campaigns can include JPG and PNG images, MP4 video, PDFs, plus contact cards and location pins. Personalize the accompanying text so the same file is not paired with identical copy across hundreds of people, and compress large files before you attach them.
When should I use Samvad instead?
